Alta Capital Desk collects little from readers and more from people who submit a request. This page lists both. Nine clauses, each short.

Site visits
All traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare, which sees requests and IP addresses. Calculator inputs stay in your browser. They are not sent to us. They are not tied to you.
Request form
Four stages: situation, finances, goals, contact. Required fields: full name, email, phone. Other fields: state or region, help needed, net worth range, income range, investable assets range, main goal, timeline, current advisor status, contact preference, consent; financial fields are ranges, not exact figures. Answers sit on our cloud infrastructure, and an email-delivery provider sends a copy to us.
Recipients
A team member reads each request first, then follows up with you to confirm the need. The request then goes to at most three licensed advisors, who pay for introductions. An advisor sees region, ranges and need before buying. Name and contact details follow only after purchase.
Cookies and trackers
Ads and analytics load only after you allow cookies; before that, Google Analytics runs in denied, cookieless mode. After consent: Google Analytics 4 measures visits, and Google AdSense serves ads. The Meta Pixel measures ads and social activity and may pass visit data to Meta. Yandex Metrica counts page visits so Yandex Search can find the pages, with session recording off.
Opt-out signals
Global Privacy Control is read as a request to stop sale and sharing, and we honor it. Yandex Metrica does not load with it on. A request submitted while it is on is flagged do-not-sell in our records. Choices made on the Do not sell or share my personal information page are stored in your browser only.
Retention and security
A request stays on file while the match is made and while legal record-keeping needs apply. Ask for deletion. We delete unless the law requires us to keep it. The form runs Cloudflare Turnstile, a honeypot field and rate limits.
Rights
California residents may request access, correction or deletion, and may opt out of sale and sharing. The CCPA and CPRA give these rights. We do not discriminate for use of them. Other states may give you similar rights.
Age limit and contact
This site is not for children. We knowingly collect nothing from anyone under 16. Reach us through the contact page only. Send all privacy requests there.
Advisor accounts
Advisors submit name, work email and CRD number, which are saved on the account. At sign-up the CRD number is compared with the SEC's public investment adviser record; three tests apply: found, currently registered, name matches. An advisor with a personal email address, or with reported disclosure events, goes to manual review, and a failed check can apply for a person's review. A payment provider handles card payments; no card number is stored here.
